50 frases en inglés que puedes usar hoy mismo en tu daily standup

Un banco de frases listas para usar, organizadas por situación. Cada frase es una plantilla: reemplaza los espacios con tu propia tarea, feature o ticket.

54 phrases

El daily standup dura 15 minutos, pero es el momento en que tu inglés es más visible para todo el equipo. Necesitas sonar natural bajo una ligera presión, sin tiempo para preparar cada frase.

Esto es un banco de frases. Cada frase es una plantilla con un espacio en blanco que tú rellenas. Los ejemplos junto a cada plantilla te muestran qué encaja ahí. Guárdalo en favoritos, practica y úsalo.

📅Ayer

Empieza por lo que hiciste ayer. Tu equipo necesita saber si las cosas avanzaron, si algo sigue en progreso o si no estuviste disponible.

Terminé algo

Úsalo cuando completaste una tarea, cerraste un ticket, hiciste merge de un PR o entregaste algo. Lo importante es nombrar qué terminaste y dejar claro que está hecho.

No terminé

Úsalo cuando trabajaste en algo pero no lo completaste. Sé directo: di que no terminaste, luego di qué queda o cuándo continuarás. No te excuses ni des demasiadas explicaciones.

Seguí trabajando en lo mismo

Úsalo cuando hiciste lo mismo que el día anterior y no hay nada nuevo que reportar. Es el update más corto y eso está bien.

No estaba trabajando

Úsalo para explicar por qué no tienes nada que reportar. Una frase es suficiente. No hace falta justificarse.

🎯Hoy

Di a tu equipo qué vas a hacer. Sé lo suficientemente específico como para que la gente pueda señalar dependencias o solapamientos, pero sin entrar en cada detalle.

Tengo planes y objetivos

Úsalo para decir qué tienes previsto hacer. Empieza con "Today" o "I plan to" para indicar que estás hablando del presente, no del pasado.

Tengo reuniones

Menciona las reuniones cuando vayan a reducir significativamente tu tiempo de código. Tu equipo necesita saber que no debe esperar el output habitual de ti.

Voy a debuggear o investigar

Úsalo cuando no tienes una entrega clara para el día, solo una investigación. Establece las expectativas correctas: puede que no tengas algo concreto que mostrar al final del día.

Necesito concentración

Úsalo cuando necesitas tiempo sin interrupciones y quieres indicar que puede que tardes más en responder mensajes. Ayuda a tu equipo a planificarse.

🔜Lo que viene

Úsalo para dar contexto más allá de hoy. Ayuda a tu equipo a ver qué se avecina para poder señalar dependencias a tiempo. Sé breve.

Qué sigue después

Menciona en qué planeas trabajar después de tu tarea actual o más adelante en la semana. Una frase es suficiente.

🚧Blockers

Esta es la parte más importante del standup para tu equipo. Sé específico sobre qué está bloqueado, qué estás esperando y quién puede ayudar. No te la saltes aunque pienses que tu blocker es menor.

Estoy esperando algo

Nombra el blocker con claridad. Di qué estás esperando, quién es responsable si es relevante y cuál es el impacto en tu trabajo. Cuanto más específico seas, más rápido podrá alguien ayudarte.

Sin blockers

Di esto siempre de forma explícita si no tienes nada bloqueado. Cierra tu update del standup de forma limpia y confirma al equipo que estás desbloqueado.
