What does "Kanban" mean in programming?
Kanban is one of the most common terms in software development. This guide explains what it means, how it is used in practice, and why it matters, with real examples from the developer world.
Definition
A workflow management method where work items are visualized on a board with columns representing stages (To Do, In Progress, Done). Unlike Scrum, Kanban has no fixed sprints: work flows continuously. Teams limit the number of items in progress (WIP limit) to avoid bottlenecks.
