embarrassed

"Embarrassed" means ashamed or awkward. For the Spanish "embarazada" (pregnant) use "pregnant" in English. These two words have nothing in common beyond their spelling.

embarrassed

Means feeling ashamed, awkward, or uncomfortable because of something that happened.

"I was so embarrassed when I accidentally pushed my API keys to a public repo."
