"Carpet" is a floor covering. For the Spanish "carpeta" (a folder) use "folder" or "directory" in English.

The common mistake: "Carpeta" en español es lo que en inglés se llama "folder" o "directory". "Carpet" en inglés es la alfombra. Si dices "put it in the carpet" en una code review, nadie va a entender que hablas de una carpeta.
