What does "PR" mean in programming?
PR is one of the most common terms in software development. This guide explains what it means, how it is used in practice, and why it matters, with real examples from the developer world.
Definition
Short for Pull Request. The standard abbreviation used in team communication: 'I opened a PR', 'the PR is in review', 'please approve my PR'. In GitLab contexts, MR (Merge Request) is used instead.
