What does "Agile" mean in programming?
Agile is one of the most common terms in software development. This guide explains what it means, how it is used in practice, and why it matters, with real examples from the developer world.
Definition
A philosophy for software development that values iterative delivery, collaboration, and responding to change over following a fixed plan. The Agile Manifesto (2001) defines four values and twelve principles. Scrum and Kanban are the most common Agile frameworks. The opposite of Waterfall.
